After selecting a Deliver To in the Airmail2 software program, a Postmark stamp is placed on the first page of the paper document, tagging it with a unique barcode.
Stamped documents can be scanned in stacks.
Airmail2 reads the instructions for each barcode, directing the digital documents into a recipient’s destination folder in the document management system.
Airmail2 delivers Daily Mail and Document Requests into the DMS.
Paper2Digital is now essential
Airmail2 is a software, consulting and services solution that establishes a main office operation to scan Daily Mail and Document Requests for attorneys and staff working from home. The design of Airmail2 accommodates a home-based workforce at full-scale, as well as routine needs in normal times.
Airmail2 has been engineered to address this need because it cannot be met by simply adapting an existing scanning system. For example, Airmail2’s simplicity and segmented processes enable clerical operators to work productively, with minimal training, and without password access to the DMS. Automated quality controls and the remote help desk provide operational integrity. Unsecure scan-to-email and complicated multi-function copier interfaces are avoided. A zero footprint deployment allows for rapid, multi-office start-up.
DocSolid delivers Airmail2 with customized Paper2Digital consulting, to match the distinct requirements of each client. The software is installed on premise for customers with an existing Postmark software platform installation, or it is deployed rapidly as a cloud-based hosted service for new DocSolid customers.
Airmail2 provides Paper2Digital delivery of document requests and daily mail to at-home law firm workers. Scanned documents are routed directly into the user’s workspace in iManage or NetDocuments. Designed for productive, secure and reliable operation, Airmail2 supports large-scale office closures, routine remote worker support, and business resumption plans.
